The Ross Family Homestead Welcomes You!
Your Neighborhood Micro-Farm
Activities
The Ross Family Homestead is in the business of providing the community with education on micro-farming and rescuing animals in need. Our goal is to foster a love of homesteading in the community as a way to live a more sustainable life for our planet.
With this initiative, our goal is to educate on all aspects of small-scale farming and sustainable living. From raising chickens, goats and pigs to organic farming and composting. We teach about upcyling for the home and garden and provide tours, classes, day camps and volunteer opportunities.
Farm animals are often mistreated or become unwanted by individuals who don't understand the needs and behaviors of these animals. Here at the Ross Family Homestead, we provide a place for small farm animals to thrive, and foster them until we find their ideal forever home.
